This online journal / blog is for me, Joseph Durnal, to capture a little slice of my life. The life where I try to balance family, IT work, video games, and whatever. I'll probably post a lot about work, family, news, politics, and odd things that I see or happen.

Frederick Amateur Radio Club Hamfest
Each year the Frederick Amateur Radio Club puts on a hamfest, which is basically a big flea market with a folks selling a lot of ham radio gear and electronics. There are a few commercial vendors as well. This year's hamfest worked out quite well, we were able to save some money on expenses and sold a lot more tickets than last year. Our total income looks like it will be more than triple what we made in 2006, just about enough to cover a year's worth of club expenses.
