I've reached the end of the Internet

Years ago, Amy turned me on to a site called BlogExplosion. It is a neat concept for blog surfing. Basically, you surf blogs in their frame, and for each two blogs you visit, you get a visit in return. Back in the day, there were a great many blogs to be surfed via BlogExplosion. Neither Amy nor I paid much attention to BlogExplosion for a while, but recently, we've returned. The service doesn't seem to be as popular as it once was, but there are still many interesting blogs that it will present to you. One thing that I don't remember running into in the past is surfing all of the blogs available, basically, you get to a point where you just can't view any more blogs through their surf random blogs feature. This is probably because not enough other users are earning visits by surfing blogs.

One solution to this problem would be to allow blogs to be surfed even if they have not earned any visits. Writing a bot to check blogs that haven't been active on BlogExplosion recently but have been recently updated would be the best idea. This could help bring bloggers who have signed up but aren't active in the site back, and it would make the service more useful to the current active users.

If you like surfing blogs and you would like some more visitors for you blog, sign up for BlogExplosion.

It's a shame. The people who made it just stopped caring one day. The members keep surfing, and new members keep coming in, but as long as the owners don't care, it can't live up to its great potential.
